Movember Foundation does a fantastic job of raising awareness and money for men’s health, addressing issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention on a global scale. Using the hundreds of millions of dollars raised in donations from ‘Mo Bros and Mo Sistas’, they aim to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by 2030.

At the center of this project is their mobile app, which functions not only as a place to share pictures of moustache progress, but crucially helps the community raise vital funds for the project. Which is where Swrve comes in! And as you can probably tell, we are delighted to team up with Movember Foundation to help increase engagement, acquisition and total funds raised across mobile and their other digital channels. Oh, and hopefully help to grow more moustaches too.

Using Swrve to better understand user behavior will enable Movember Foundation to optimize user experiences across multiple channels, leading to further increases in fundraising and engagement amongst the Foundation community. Optimization includes delivering personalized onboarding experiences for new mobile app users who are looking to start fundraising and growing hair on their face, and alerting fundraisers that a donation has been made. Our integration with Eloqua - part of Oracle Marketing Cloud - makes it possible to automatically deliver these alerts via the user’s preferred channel, be it email, push or in the app.  

The Foundation’s Jon Akerman puts it all into perspective: “Anything that helps us personalize and optimize that experience means greater engagement and real progress in men’s health”.
